- Darrin Quan
29thJanuary2009 - Happybirthday Wei Long
Met up with the PokeGang at 1.pm for lunch. We had a theme that day. POWER RANGERS!
Wei Long - pink ranger
Hansen - blue ranger
See Yuan - black ranger
Aven - white ranger
Darrin - yellow ranger
Wee Yong - green ranger
Zhen Ning - x'tra ranger
Kai Siang - red ranger
Anyway, we had Sushi Ten for lunch. The ramen is a scam. Seriously. Hansen burst into laughter after sampling my ramen. Poor Hansen had to carry his obnoxiously heavy PS2 around.
Aven, Wei Long, Zhen Ning and I went straight to Wei Long's house first to 'set up' the place (actually to slack) while See Yuan and Hansen waited for the rest to arrive. "We'll be a lil late" is a very common phrase smsed to us that day.
The evil slurpee machine died on us.
When everybody finally arrived, we had games. The first game was pictionary and i can't believe my drawing lost to Zhen Ning's. Anyway, that's not the point. Some of us were told to draw things like Charmander or Mr Kamal.
The second game was the number game. Initially it was quite easy. Until Wei Long started to add more numbers at the same time.
The third game was to place the orange between our heads and transfer it to the table on the other side; and on the first round Brandon was sabo'ed to do it with Gwee Jie while Sin Yee and I were sabo'ed. But we won though haha. The dumb part was when Grace Hong and Hui Ling tried it with their butt and got the orange squashed. lol.
The fourth game was the sweets transporting game. We had to use spoons, forks or knives to transfer sweets from one end to the other. The girls played well. The guys just messed around lol. We started to foul play like mad. Haha.
The last game was the "Know Wei Long" game. Wei Long started to ask questions about himself. LOl. Questions such as "Who do i think is the greatest a%$hole (hansen)?" and "Who do i like to suan most(aven)?" Very retarded. lol.
While waiting for the pizza, we had free-&-easy.
Then, Darrin, Aven, Wei Long, Hansen and i started to play a RPG card game called Munchking. Quite fun. Haha. Curse! Level up! Spam monsters! haha. Cleric! :D
So sad we had to abort the great and well planned "Wedding Game". :( lol.
Wei Long <3 Gwee Jie
Cake was nice haha.
Company was nice too. :)
I think i'll really miss everyone in 4D1. Some more some less. But. Meow.
Wei Long you better keep the birthday card i made for you. One and only of its kind. =P.
And it's only at this point of time that we bonded so much. Only when we were finally going to part.
"Kai Siang, you go JC le we will hardly meet liao."
It is when Wei Long said that, did i realise that, we were all really going to part; for good.
A sinking feeling rose up from my feet. It crunches at my heart. Sighs.
On the bus 98 home, while i was alone on the bus, i started to burst out in tears. Four years just flew past just like that. I took for granted what i once had. Sighs. And now, there's only 2 days left. Technically for me, it's only one day, which is sunday.
But, i didn't regret anything. All the best in wherever you guys are headed towards to. :) I believe that you'll succeed in anything you do.
And thus arrives the chapter of the end of the beginning
- Darrin Quan
And it was finally taken,
for the once it was forsaken.

4D1'08 2009 chalet
Went for Ken's 21st birthday party from 5.pm to 7.30pm. Of course i didn't regret going. It was very fun too. :) His mum cooked lots of sumptuous delights and delicacies. Hurray! Food! Eugene was emo'ing in front of Ken's corner before he finally lost it. Armed with a helmet and the full serviceman uniform, Eugene just lost it. I hope you like the T-shirt! Happy Birthday Ken! (Pics soon!)
4D1 chalet was awesome. Atleast for the second part of the day (wasn't able to tell about the first half). The first thing i did when i reached the chalet was bathe before spamming arcade with the rest. Almost completed Silent Hill with Sin Yee but we ran out of credits. Should've topped up more. Ha. And See Yuan and Nicholas seemed to belong to the same organisation which requires people to wear light pink shirts with black long pants. The game which is about throwing balls at the screen was very fun too! We got 20 tickets from it! Yay! haha, okay. Hansen, Julian and I spammed about 20 dollars on the sweets machine with the objective of getting the biscuit out of the machine in mind. But due to many, and seriously many such as dropping at the right spot yet shifted to the top of the pile and when it finally drops to the second level it somersaults and travelled to the top of the pile again, unprecedented circumstances, we failed horribly in that.
Look at the colossus amount of sweets that we captured. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
Back at the chalet, we watched SAW V. Halfway throughout the show, Ying Ting and Annabel appeared to be missing. All the chaleters were mobilised from the chalet and went to look for them. (they didn't bring their handphones and were late because Yahuan was tricked into going to the wrong place because perhaps Yu Zheng and Pearl wanted to xcoughxspendmoretimetogetherxcoughx.)
We had many night walks. lol.
Then from about 3am onwards, we just spammed indoor games. Wei Long is really the master of games. He knows a lot of games. At about 6am, all of us went for breakfirst at macdonalds.(which was unfortunately closed from 12am to 6am on this specific tuesday.)
By second day, dou liao. Everything that we do we can't do with full concentration. Arcade and pooled while some of us left first. Had breakfirst at Subway. Wei Long, Hansen and I sat away from the rest because Wei Long was lazy to move.
"It's like catching pokemon, you have to weaken it first then maybe do stun spore...etc," said Hansen. LOL. And pokemon became the main theme for our conversations for the rest of the journey home.
Current pokemon available -
Caterpie, Metapod, Caterpod (failure to devolve back and hence a mutation) Psyduck, Articuno[with it's all powerful ice beam] (Mewtwo), Zapdos (Mew), Jynx (LOL), Beedrill (LOL again), Evee, Ditto (who transformed into Nidoqueen and was left like that due to many trainers lack of the Siliscope), Hitmonlee.
Nevermind, moving on to the Johto region soon. Real soon. It's like goodbye to Kanto region soon. Real soon.
(Pics soon, again!)
P.S: Brock, do damage the pokemon next time before attempting to throw a pokeball. Stun spore won't be quite enough for a lengendary pokemon.

Time is slipping by...
Anyway, this is a short summary of what i've done in the past few days:
13th January - Tuesday (2 days ago)
I had my luncheon with Sin Yee at pasta mania. Thanks for the treat! Slacked at Zhen Ning's house for a little while before meeting up with Brandon, Cheong Khi, Hansen, Nicholas wee and Yan Jing at Commonwealth's Mrt Station. Headed for school with them and had a really good talk with the teachers there.
Played basketball at the sheltered in-doors court there. Also caught up with some of my NPCC juniors before having a try at the school's piano; which was quite an interesting experience.
Before night falls, Brandon, Hansen, Nicholas, Zhen Ning and I went to have our dinner at Mr. Prata. The 'emo meal' and 'burger EX' was really retarded. World domination through an 'emo' fastfood restaurant.
14th January - Wednesday (Yesterday)
Woke up at 1:13pm (WOOTS). Simply put, the plans i had for my day was pretty well in the bin. Didn't turn up for the NJC visiting with Brandon and the rest. Sorry guys!
Had my lunch, gymed, swam and played the piano.
After much consideration, going to the new Kallang shopping center was lesser of an evil than eating at the foodcourt in Vivocity; afterall, it's a new shopping center.
The new Kallang park mall (or whatever it's name may be) is a rather immaculated shopping center (i must say); only that it's such a pity that it's situated in a rather desserted area. Sin Yee and I were like sympathising with all the shops because of the lack of customers there.
15th - January (Today)
Laziness got the better of me. I couldn't bother myself to do anything about appealing into RJC. I didn't know why. I was just so, very lazy. Thoughts of doubts kept creeping into my mind. "Aiya, also won't get in one, why bother?". Sighs. Anyway, if that's truly my calling, opportunities above opportunies will inundate in within the next few days or weeks.
Darrin, Kian seng, See Yuan, Wei Long, Zhen Ning and I went for swimming today. All of us, except for See Yuan who was late, were scammed by the evil swimming complex. It was closed today. RAH. So, we decided to make do with the swimming pool at my house. It was, unexpectedly, very fun though. I jumped into the pool and realised that nobody had goggles on except for Kian Seng and I. The 2 KS. HAHA. So, i started to 'attack' the other guys. And soon, those horrible words which i feared pierce through my ears. "ALL ATTACK KAI SIANG!!! GRAB HIS GOGGLES!!!". I ran. However, the water resistance was too high. Struggling, i shove them off one by one. Soon enough, i was entangled by their vile arms and Zhen Ning managed to steal my goggles; which i stole back almost immediately xD.
Kian Seng and i formed an unlikely alliance. Afterall, we were the only ones bestowed with the ultimate power to resist the evils and devastations of the impact that comes from the highly chlorinated hydro-oxgenated crown of mass - the splashing of swimming pool water.
Rain drops came falling and we had to retreat back to my safe haven called home.
Spammed PS3 and went to have dinner with Kian Seng, See Yuan and Wei Long at a nearby hawker center/ coffeeshop.
Yay. My days have been filled with laughter and joy. :).

G.O.D
Whether it is just a test or it is Your will,
is for You to choose.
Once again i lift up everything to You,
as i rejoice over the day i'm created,
i remember the grace You so selflessly poured unto me.
As i cherish every magical moment of the present You presented to me,
the future i will keep in mind always.
Always.
Love,
Kai Siang.

Clique Chalet 2009
Anyway, chalet this time round was a lot more relaxing and it was really quite fun. Heh. Money shortage every now and then for me though. But i thank God for wonderful friends who are willing to lend me money. =)
This time round, our chalet as usual being a 3D2N one at Costa Sands Pasir Ris, we have Kian Seng, Wei Yang, Zhen Ning, Jie Run, Nicholas, Yong Liang, Bryan and I around; though Jie Run left on the second day.
On the first day, we watched the "Deuce Gigolo". Something i learnt from the movie is to cherish what you have. Cherish the present. But at the same time, keeping the future in mind. BBQ was great and i must recommend a very good BBQ-er; Mr Seow Kian Seng. The beef and chicken fillet were really great! I should ask of my maid to add honey to the chicken fillet next time! :D.
And i saw Eileen!=) Cause i noticed a group of HC students there; someone was wearing a I<3HC shirt.
I played with the marsh mellow that i had. I didn't know that it could be so stretchy and nice to pull and to play with after it has been cooked. lol.
Arcade was quite fun. Amen. Nicholas and i trashed a few people there in Initial D. There was this guy who looked like Ahmad(or so according to Yong Liang) who kept wanting to challenge me. Despite having boost one, he still lost to me. Poor guy, used a stock car against my fully modified AE86. I feel for you. ha!. I spent like only 2 dollars on initial D (which is 1 dollar because of the 100% top up nebo voucher) and played 6 rounds! Wee. BUT, I WASTED 28 DOLLARS ON THE STUPID MACHINE. TWENTY EIGHT YOU KNOW?! T-W-E-N-T-Y E-I-G-H-T-T-T-T!!! And i got nothing in return. Though Bryan spent a lil more than me, atleast he had a Pooh soft toy! Seriously, those machines are money suckers and are highly addictive; even Kian Seng also got hooked onto it and spend nine dollars!
Movie was seven pounds. Epitome of tedium for most part of it until the unprecedented twist came slamming in at the end. 7 pounds. Literally. Don't wanna spoil the movie for you. Anyway, i'll give it a 7.7/10! :D. A1 standard okay.
During the movie, i sat between Bryan and Kian Seng. And so i kept stealing Bryan's popcorn.
Bryan:" You understand the movie anot?"
Kai Siang(gives a very stern and serious look as if in disgust): "No."
(and we both started to laugh like mad.)
Kai Siang:"I'm just waiting for the movie to end."
Bryan:"HAHAHA SAME!"
We went back to the chalet and we slept while some of us went drinking. And im still proud to say i don't drink! :D. It's cool okay haha.
On the second day, we had mac for breakfast! I had hotcakes! :). After breakfast we went back to the chalet to watch Wall-e. Quite a cool show ya know. After Wall-e we went for a light lunch because we wanted to eat something more expensive and heavier for dinner. i bought Ban Mian! :D and Barley!. But the auntie cheated me and gave me Lemon Barley! Meow~. More arcade after lunch. This time, i spent less than the first day. Had to control myself. On the first day, i already spent like 21 dollars on the machine. Albeit having the knowledge that the machine is nothing but a scam, i thought to myself and somehow managed to deceive myself into wasting another 7 dollars in a vain attempt of winning something. Oink!!! Okay, went back to the chalet and played "Bluff"(a very cool dice game that Kian Seng taught us all). Then, after Nich and Zhen ning returned from White Sands, we set off for Tampinese Mall. DAng dang dang DANG.
Okay, we had pasta mania in the end. All because there wasn't any other Jap restaurants but Ajisen which seriously is anothe average food centre which sells overpriced yet mediocre food. So, we aimed for Pastamania and i bought Creamy Chicken pasta; i didn't know that we could upsize the serving of the pasta itself! I thought upsizing is only for the drink and the garlic bread. And it's just 2.20 to upsize! Meow!. Okay, i had ICE LEMON TEA TOO.:D. Zhen Ning and i just kept spamming cheese! As in the powdery one.
We went back to the chalet after dinner and rented 2 movies; "Covenant" and "Hancock".
Watched little Nyonya(which was against my will T.T) and some funny channel U show followed by some English Lesson show at 11pm Okto. I think my hp is really siao. Always no bat. Just one SMS and the battery level can fall from 74% to 10%. Wait 5 minutes and it zooms back to 57%. And i think my phone value gonna 'dou' very soon.
"Hancock" is a very cool movie okay.
Went to sleep after that but woke up at the most crucial and exhilerating part of Covenant. The final battle. Haha. "I... will you my... power." *eyes turn black and BOOM* haha.
Went to sleep. Woke up at 9am++ again. Took a few more groups shots and left the chalet. Pics soon k!.
That's all folks! :D enjoyed myself thoroughly!. 1 chalet down 2 more to go! Seize the opportunities and function in the present!

Happy Birthday!.. in advance =)
The affixation of the covenant was carried out at Swensons! I had 'golden rush' (it's a food there; pretty sweet).
Hey, is that a mail for me?
Hey! I've got mail! =D. Okay, what's inside?Hmm...
It's the first time i received a mail from a non-organisation.
Thank you Sin Yee! =D
More pics on the ice cream i had today soon. Pics are with Gracia. =D
Okay, that's all for today! :D

MayHui's BBQ
Somehow, Bryan's face wasn't as red on the pic. You should've seen him. So drunk. Ha. Then, i forgot who it was but either Ho Wei Yang, Eugene, Yu Zheng or Kok Ti, when Bryan was playing Mah Jong, shouted "Bryan! You're drunk and you're gambling!". ha. His face was crimson red. Literally. I just don't know why the on the picture his complextion isn't that reddish.
Sin Yee! I think she was drunk too. She couldn't count or discern properly! xD
After the BBQ, i went to find my family for supper! The tou fu was super good! haha.
Okay, that's all folks!
I pray that all of us do well for our major examinations. :)
HAVE A BLESSED 2009! :D

I thank God for a wonderful 2008 and a will-be-wonderful 2009.
I wanted to end 2008 with a bang; and i did. yea hehehe.
Once i was going to 2008, but now i've left; for 2009.
Went to buy CNY clothes with Nich and Sin Yee today.:)
Sin Yee bought a pair of brown Kappa shoes and i bought a red long sleeved shirt with i've been searching for like forever. Nich didn't buy anything though.
We went to disturb Ruby at central point.
I'm very tired now. haha.
God's word is really a lamp unto my feet. :)

Love.
verb [T]
to have strong feelings of affection for another adult and be romantically and sexually attracted to them, or to feel great affection for a friend or person in your family:
I love you.
Last night he told me he loved me.
I've only ever loved one man.
I'm sure he loves his kids.
love
noun
1 [U] strong feelings of attraction towards, and affection for, another adult, or great affection for a friend or family member:
"I've been seeing him over a year now." "Is it love?"
Children need to be shown lots of love.
"I'm seeing Laura next week." "Oh, please give her my love" (= tell her I am thinking about her with affection).
INFORMAL How's your love life (= your romantic and/or sexual relationships) these days?
2 [C] a person that you love and feel attracted to:
He was the love of my life.
She was my first love.
3 [as form of address] UK INFORMAL used as a friendly form of address:

That'll be four pounds exactly, love.
4 [U] (ALSO love from or all my love) INFORMAL used before your name at the end of letters, cards etc. to friends or family:
See you at Christmas. Love, Kate.
What is love?
It is heard that it is something that makes the one you love happy. Some say that it is a special bond shared between two people; whereby they unconditionally care and do things for each other and confide in each other.
There are also some jokers who think that physical intimacy such as holding hands, hugging and kissing is love. Some even say things such as "If you love me, you would do it". But i tell you the truth, what he or she is saying is "I don't care about your feelings or convictions, just satisfy my needs!"
It is also, unfortunately, heard that it love is just a feeling. An emotion that arises when you think of someone. Someone special.
But, listen to me. Love, is a choice.
What is love?
Love is patient
Love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Faith.
1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
2This is what the ancients were commended for.
3By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
4By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.
5By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. 6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
7By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
8By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
11By faith Abraham, even though he was past age—and Sarah herself was barren—was enabled to become a father because he[a]considered him faithful who had made the promise. 12And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.
13All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. 14People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.
17By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had received the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, 18even though God had said to him, "It is through Isaac that your offspring[b] will be reckoned."[c] 19Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death.
20By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.
21By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph's sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.
22By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions about his bones.
23By faith Moses' parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king's edict.
24By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter. 25He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. 26He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. 27By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king's anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. 28By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.
29By faith the people passed through the Red Sea[d] as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.
30By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days.
31By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient.[e]
32And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets, 33who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. 35Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection. 36Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. 37They were stoned[f]; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground.
39These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. 40God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.
I have faith in my King, my Lord, my God.
I have faith that He will save ALLLLLL my family members and friends!
Yeah, praise the Lord! Amen?:)
