CTSS Teacher's Day'08

Today is an extremely, stupedously amazing, and, perhaps, heart wrenching day.
Amazing because this is the most intriguing and fun-filled teacher's day i've ever had in my whole life. Everybody is so rhapsodical and everything went as planned except that we didn't take a video of the " Do maths for Janetland" song.
Heart wrenching because ironically, today's Miss Janet Tan's last day in CTSS. :(
As painful as it is, we have to respect her decision to leave; and her courage to make this decision - it is a calling from our Father in heaven afterall.

Anyway, a simple breakdown of what we did:
1. Introduction for the teachers.
For Mr Kamal, Miss Janet Tan, Mr Ong and Miss Tan Wen Yi, we gave them a startling and messy surprise. We assailed all the teachers with out party spray cans and steathily slipped their party hats on their heads before bombarding them with "(teacher's name) wan shui wan shui wan wan shui!" which is followed by a subsequent series of kindergarden songs; which includes Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Gong Xi Gong Xi Gong Xi Ni Ya, Mary had a little lamb and Jingle Bells - and the best part was everybody was singing today!(as compared to last year which only the girls took part in)
2.Games
We played "pass the balloon" and "Whack'O".
The forfeits we thought of made up for the simplicity of the games.:D
Aven and Yilin had to walk across the class with a balloon in between their heads.! xD. <3 Love is in the air~/
Hansen danced today! lolz. very cool dancing.
And Brandon proposed to Dan Dan! we actually have a clip of it! xD.
And **** **** *** ****** p***** u* *** *****'* !
3.FOOD!
The food is amazingly sumptuous.
No wonder the exorbitant price.
Simply put, it's d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s.
Guys, do thank cheong khi/Shao kai bin yacob/Lam Lee for the catering of the food ya? :)
Awesome girl.
4. Janet thingy!
First, annabel covered miss janet tan's eyes and brought her onto a chair with her back facing the screen when we played the "Do Maths for Janetland" song.
She was so surprised haha.
After some rehearsing we managed to pull off a very good show for her! hope she is impressed :).
especially the last part where we stood up row by row and finally fired our party poppers.
A pity we didn't take a video while we sang the song.zZz.Nevermind :).
Anyway, we continued by playing the "Janet's farewell" video. really awesome and impressive video with everybody's effort poured into, and the final touch ups by our dear Annabel(cium) Ho.
Janet teared!
and so did the rest of us.
After the video, she talked to us as a group.
She said something like "You guys are the best class that i've ever taught. And one of the reasons why i actually decided to leave is because, i believe that you guys are mature and capable enough to know what you want, to know what you want to get. I believe that you guys can get your A1s ...etc". Then, all the memories of times when we slept in her class and didn't do her homework started to crash down on me. ZZZ. Nevermind, no point on dwelling so much about my past mistakes.
Rather, it's time to do something about it.
It's time for change, change that we can believe in.

We carry on to give her hugs/handshakes.
Most of the guys teared too.
I really think it takes a real guy to tear in front of girls.

Anyway, we will always love Miss Janet Tan and we will always remember her! :)

We had a cake for a her too :) and a giant card! lololololol.

The most hilarious part of the day was when we started smashing cakes on our teachers' faces; first started by Minggay on MJT and then Nich wee on Kamal.
Haha, and kamal started to threaten us all with our testimonials and Zn had to clean Kamal's face lol.

k, enough said.
In short, today's teachers' day celebration was totally superb.
